This is Lyme Regis on Easter Sunday morning on the hottest, calmest Easter the town has experienced since 2007 and there’s hardly a soul in sight.
…and not a soul in sight! The virus seems to be everywhere and people have been urged to stay at home during this holiday period and, from the look of the town this morning, all the warnings have paid off.
I thought I’d go out on my boat this morning to take some photos to show people how Lyme Regis looked on this special day but I ‘ve been warned by the Harbourmaster not to leave the harbour. Only commercial vessels catching fish to sell to the public are allowed to go sea so, instead, I decided to take a walk and show just how the lock down is working.
It stops you in your tracks and makes you stare.
